After practice in Newtown for over 6 years, she opened her own private practice in nearby Richboro in 2018. Dr. Joyce graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2012. She completed her undergraduate studies at Misericordia University with a Biology major and Chemistry minor in 2006. In 2008, she earned a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Scranton.
She specializes in contact lens fitting and evaluation, including custom rigid gas permeable lenses (RGPs). Dr. Joyce is passionate about Vision Shaping, or Orthokeratology, to slow myopia progression as well as custom designing specialty lenses for her patients with corneal disease and degeneration. Additionally, she manages and treats Dry Eye Syndrome, Glaucoma, and Amblyopia and manages Hypertensive Retinopathy, Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration, and Cataracts.
Dr. Joyce loves spending her free time with her husband and sons. She also enjoys running, biking, and weight-training. She is certified by the American Council of Exercise and YogaFit to teach Yoga, Spin, and Pilates classes. She utilizes her fitness and nutrition background in her approach to patient care by connecting all facets of a patient's life to his or her ocular health.
